Well, it didn't snow on me. Hardly rained even! Made it to Taupo just fine with a night @ Turangi in a cute cabin with a borrowed guitar that probably belonged to a guy my grandfather taught.

Having a lovely time here with my grandparents. Doing lots of tiki-touring around tourist spots like huka falls, craters of the moon, botanical gardens, honey hive, arty cafes, hearing lots of old stories about family history & last nite i got to hang out with a bunch of fun young 70-somethings and watch the rugby (congrats waikato!).
