The grass is always greener on the other side eh! I've been craving getting back into study for the last few months & now that i'm doing it, I'm soooooo into procrastinating again & wondering if maybe I should've just "gone with the flow" a bit longer... or done that masters programme...
But anyway, am living in Christchurch now in this interesting place-kinda a combination between a backpackers & a flat, run by Japanese folk. Feels quite familiar with the lingo spoken around me, bilingual signs etc. Nice. I won't be here too much longer tho as my room is the size of a cuboard & starting to want my own space.
My course is full-on. Two weeks down & already up to test #3, have taught a weeks worth of literacy lessons to one student, about to finish a 1st aid course & read a stack of material. Seems like the tutors are onto it tho & the other people in the programme are good, varied & interesting types. Wondering who will be my friends by the end of the year.
Am still feeling a bit disconnected in NZ/ here. Guess that's just going to take time.

Ganbare! Hard work always always pays off. If the youth are anything to gauge by, we are in desperate need of good inspirational teachers here in London.. HINT HINT ;)
