Aaah, Hamner Springs! Another day of hot pools for me today =) I deserve it tho, believe me! Biked thru the worst conditions i've encountered yet yesterday. Lewis pass was freezing, rainy & so misty i could only see about 100m in front of me coming over the hill, downhill wind rush so cold im sure i was just about getting hypothermic! Thank god for a kind tramper i met sheltering @ a deerstalkers hut along the way who donated his polypro gloves to me, replacing my improvised soaked socks in place of lost gloves! Positive vibes in his direction!! Weather rapidly improved as i headed downhill eastward & by the time i got to hamner the sun was out and scenery looked like something out of an oil painting. Just incredible! Emotions & weather both very changeable & definately linked!

Anyway, I survived! Staying at the cutest little backpackers here. Really cozy & friendly. Highly recommend Hamner backpackers. Even had freshly baked bread thismorning =) Off to dry out my tent, do washing & go soak in some hot water.
